The local section participated in the National Chemistry Olympiad competition in April. Catherine Situma of Auburn University administered the national exam to 11 local high school students representing Auburn High School, The Montgomery Academy, and Columbus High School. The exam took place at Auburn University where student completed written and laboratory practical exams. Thank you to Catherine for providing this opportunity to the students.
