For the second year, the EAWG local section has sponsored awards at the Alabama Science and Engineering Fair (ASEF). This event represents the top science fair for the state of Alabama and was hosted in 2026 at Auburn University. Our section sponsored two awards with the winners being Ingrid Rudolphi (Junior division – grades 6-8) of Baldwin Arts and Academic Magnet School (Montgomery, AL) for her project titled “Rust Solutions” and Emma Holt (Senior division – grades 9-12) of Providence Classical School (Huntsville, AL) for her project “Bursting with Chemistry.”
